In a moment that will be remembered as a turning point for the Indian Corrugated Packaging Industry, VIG Graphics proudly represented India as an exhibitor at SINO Corrugated South 2025, held from April 8 to 10 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China. This participation was more than a business opportunity, it was a symbol of how far Indian Manufacturing has come.
For years, the Indian Corrugation Industry has relied on Chinese imports for machinery, especially when it came to automation. Exhibitions in China were typically destinations where Indian buyers would go to source advanced equipment. However, in a striking reversal of roles, this year saw an Indian Company “VIG Graphics” exhibiting its own advanced machinery on Chinese soil.
At Stall No. N5D103, VIG Graphics, an Indian engineering leader, stood shoulder to shoulder with global innovators, engaging in strategic discussions about its flagship machines—the VIG 2800, the world’s largest 5 Ply Flute Laminator, and the VIG 1450 Flute Laminator, a high-performance solution engineered for scale and precision.
Though the machines were not physically exhibited, they commanded attention through in-depth presentations, digital walkthroughs, and technical dialogues that sparked significant interest from international buyers and technology partners. These interactions were not only commercial in nature, they were a showcase of the confidence and capability of Indian manufacturing.
“It was a proud moment for India,” said Mr. Vikram Sarin, Director at VIG Graphics. “Years ago, we visited this exhibition as buyers. Today, we’re here as exhibitors, presenting Indian Engineering on a global platform. It’s not just growth, it’s transformation.”
Mr. Advitya Sarin, who also represented the company at the exhibition, added, “This is what ‘Make in India’ truly means, when our innovations stand tall among global players and win recognition on merit, quality, and performance.”
The presence of hundreds of Indian buyers at the exhibition only amplified the pride. Many visitors, who once came to China solely to purchase imported machines, were now engaging with an Indian Company that was showcasing machines of equal or superior capability, right there at the heart of the Global Packaging Machinery stage.
The response was overwhelming. VIG Graphics booth saw a consistent stream of interest, discussions, and business inquiries from across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. More than just showcasing products, VIG Graphics demonstrated that India is ready to lead, not just participate, in the future of Corrugated Packaging Automation.
This exhibition was not just a milestone for VIG Graphics, but a symbolic moment for the Indian Corrugated Industry at large. It represents a shift from dependency to self-reliance, from importing to exporting, and from following global trends to setting them.
VIG Graphics has long been committed to building world-class packaging machines under the Make in India vision. Its growing global footprint stands as proof of what Indian innovation, engineering, and entrepreneurship can achieve.
As the corrugation industry continues to evolve, VIG Graphics remains dedicated to delivering intelligent, efficient, and reliable machinery that empowers manufacturers worldwide. The company’s presence at SINO Corrugated South 2025 is not just a feather in its cap, it’s a national achievement.
